Madrid Design Festival 25

In February 2025, had an opportunity to participate in Madrid Design Festival 25 to have an exhibition to display some of the decorative pieces made in house. These items are decorative objects with functionality such as vases, candle holders, lamps and wall art with acoustic panels.

The exhibition was called Tubulares ( meaning Tubular in English). Since most of the objects were created out of tubes. The idea behind it was that a simple form like a tube still has a potential to look nice without adding extra elements to it.

On the other hand, for the vases, the idea is that a vase could be a part of a flower and elevate the beauty of a flower.

Blossom Vase

Blossom Vase is made by replicating a large bouquet of flowers. Each mini vase replicates a flower, is independent, and can be removed. The base is designed in such a way that it holds each mini vase in the correct position and the calculated angle to give the symmetrical shape of the bouquet, without the need to secure or glue them to the base.

Length, width, and height: 50 cm, 50 cm, 60 cm
The base: 34 cm x 34 cm

Florín

The Florín vase is made of copper tubes with a nickel coating to highlight the fluidity of the flowers and allow them to flow in their own way. The idea behind the design is that a vase could be a part of the flower. Each mini vase represents the stem of a flower, the way it raises naturally from the ground and grows up.

Length, width, and height: 30 cm, 8 cm, 25 cm

RLX

The RLX lamp is designed for a bedroom or cozy corner.

The way that lamp lies completely on the surface and casts indirect light over the surface is inviting us to calm down and lower our look and mind.

It uses rechargeable battery to avoid the use of cable, but a cable could be also added in a discreet way from the bottom corner of the lamp.

The intensity of the lights could be changed.

Length, width, and height: 48cm, 10cm, 10 cm

XI

The XI vase is made of copper tubes coated in nickel. Its shape is designed to allow long-stemmed flowers to showcase their elegant height. Each container has been conceived to resemble a part of the flower's stem, as if you were forming a bouquet with your hands, without the need for any additional support.

Length, width, and height: 24 cm, 24 cm, 46 cm.

C1

C1 is a concept chair made in collaboration with Kvadrat.

The idea of this chair and the side table for it was to bring to attention of the viewer to the pure beauty of the textiles.

I remember when I entered to Kvadrat's showroom for the first time, I could not pick only one fabric, they were all beautiful in their own way. so I decided to design an object that could fit more than one or two pieces of fabrics. And in light of this exhibition ( Tubular) , transparent tubes are selected to create the chair so the fabrics could shine through.

Must mention that the fabrics in the legs of the chair are floating without any glue or an extra surface to hold them. Since the idea was that a viewer should focus on the fabric and nothing more. The pure beauty of the fabrics would såeak for themselves.
